NCBA is an alliance of 40 Southern Baptist congregations, voluntarily joining together to support each other and do the work of the Lord. Some are small. Some are large. Some meet in buildings they own. Some meet in rented facilities. Some meet in homes, some in barns. Diverse ethnic groups are represented in the congregations.
A small associational staff and strategically focused teams facilitate the ongoing learning and ministries of NCBA. Every other month, our Executive Committee meetings allow for member churches to vote on associational activities as well as enjoy fellowship and dialogue. Our Associational-wide training events and one on one coaching help churches develop and grow healthy.
While Nature Coast Baptist Association began more than 160 years ago with a geographically based identity, more and more churches identify with the NCBA mission: To assist member churches in effectively accomplishing the Great Commission in their neighborhoods and worldwide.
But more than words, our mission and vision guides a way of life at NCBA as we pray for Citrus, Hernando and Sumter counties, as well as plan and budget to accomplish what we believe God is leading us to do.
